***** WHO GO THROUGH PEOPLE'S CREDIT REPORTS

Around the 9th of this month I decided to join a funeral cover with 1life. Few days later I check my credit report and found out that they left an enquiry on my credit report without my consent. When I called them and asked them why they placed an enquiry on my credot report they mentioned that I agreed to it. They sent me a recording of our call with the agent asking if I give him permission to go through MY PERSONAL DETAILS to process my application.. My question to them is since when does GOING THROUGH MY PERSONAL DETAILS mean going through my credit report and leaving an enquiry on it? Someone from their department called me and disputed that they went through my credot report and left an enquiry and demanded proof that such happened and I sent him my report.. After having seen the report and the enquiry they left which will be stuck on my report for over a year he then changed his story and said I agreed to it and they won't even remove it.
