I am in a difficult situation

I am in a difficult situation. I'm struggling to make payments on my life policy. I called to ask what might happen if my policy cancels. The consultant advised me to the best of his ability as to what I can do to keep my policy from canceling. Also he informed me about re-instating policy if it comes to that. I appreciate it.
