Headstone Benefit - A JOKE

1Life Advertise the following on their policies:

R5000.00 for a Headstone Benefit paid out 12 months after approval of a claim.

On 15 May 2019 I contacted Metgran to assist us with a Headstone. (According to terms and conditions this process takes a month). We choose a Stone and send the wording on 16 May 2019.

28 June 2109 - I heard nothing from Metgran and send a follow up email.

1 July 2019 I received and email asking if I app**** for a permit. This was the first time anybody said anything about a permit. I was also informed that they did not even start with the stone

12 July 2019 the Permit was send the Metgran

12 July 2019 Received the layout from Metgran and confirm all in order

29 July 2019 Send a follow up email - no reply received from Metgran

Today send another email - not reply received again

Why advertise a product if its so difficult to get assistance from your suppliers. We took this policy because we liked this benefit BUT never realized that it would be so difficult to arrange something that is supposed to be part of the policy.
