Funeral claim

On the evening of the 28th of November 2021 my uncle, Simon Beggy Mashego fell and broke his leg but because of the location where we are situated (Makgwareng Limpopo) the ambulance only came the following day on the 29th of November 2021 and took him to Matibidi hospital which is approximately 2 hours away.

He was than hospitalized and kept in hospital until the 2nd of December 2021, when we received the call that he is no longer.

This has been a horrific experience as I had to witness a lot of unsatisfying issues firstly coming from the hospital and the way they treat people, I was unable to get any information from anyone from that hospital and no one could clearly explain what was the cause of death as we lastly spoke to my uncle on Tuesday the 30th of November and he sounded happy and even told us not to worry as he will be out soon.

I was even unable to get a hold of the documents to see exactly what’s going on, and was advised that everything will be done via the hospital and the funeral parlor that will be burring the deceased and that also taking forever and resulting in us only getting the death certificate on the 8th of December and we were burying on the 11th December.

Now I am unable to claim from 1life as they advising that it was a natural death whereby my uncle was hospitalized from accidentally falling and breaking his leg.
