********** Debit Order
So about a month ago I reached out to one life to get more info on their life cover as advertised by First For Women Insurance. After I spoke with a sales consultant, I clearly stated that I wanted him to forward me all the information via email so that I can have a good read through all the information that he just gave through via telephone call before I commit going into agreement with them. They agent then confirmed that I can reply on the email what my decision was and then we will take it from there. So after talking to my life partner we decided not to proceed with this cover, I then rep**** on the email as the sales agent instructed. I got an automatic response saying that a friendly consultant would come back to me. After a day, no one phoned, so I rep**** again asking them to confirm the receipt of the mail. No response. Then after 3 weeks, on pay day a debit order was loaded, which I reversed through my bank because I never agreed to go into contract with them. I then phoned in multiple times, trying to fix this agents mess that he caused. I have reported what has happened and I tried to speak to the manager who was not available to lay an complaint against the agent who fruduenlty assigned the contract to me. So after laying the complaint about a week later, this very same consultant who I spoke to finally gotten back to me and then told me that it wasn't his problem because he doesn't work for 1Life! I was furious at this point. I asked him to clean up after his own mess that he has caused and asked him to call me back when he is done rectifying his error. This guy assured me the problem will be fixed within 48 hours. I gave them a second reasonable chance to fix their problem, but it wasn't long before I started to get sms's and emails "welcome to the team" and stating that this policy was still valid. Also the past 3 days, I received phone calls from them, when I answer, the drop the call. Maybe this is to show that they tried to get hold of me, but is not the case. So I then again phoned in today to check with them if everything has been sorted because I have not heard from them in a weeks time. (The processed should've been sorted out 5 days ago, 48 hour processing time.) Then the same stuff happens, they keep on putting me through to the next agent, then I have to start to explain again. Then I finally got to speak to a guy that confirmed that this policy has been cancelled, and then an hour later I received an email stating that the policy was still active. Then a couple of hours later, another guy phones me from one life.. to tell me that he wants to confirm all my contact details because he wants to send me the voice recording that I have confirmed that I wanted to take policy, which is BS. I'm still waiting for this voice recording file to arrive so that I can have listen to what they've listened too. I don't know what they are doing and let me tell you. Stay away from this people. First for Woman Insurance should rethink their partnership with these guys.
