Do not give them your contact details. They will pester you with unwanted, unsolicited and frankly irritating sales calls. I am at the point where I want to cancel the policy I have with them, since I have asked on numerous occassions for them to not contact me and yet they persist

Do not take out a policy with them if you want to be pestered. Probably even after your death they will try and contact your ghost to sell you something.
