I took up a life policy back in 2011 and it has been deducted on my payslip , recently i am cutting down on policies as i took early retirement . And 1life's policies is part of the ones im planning to cut down on only to be told their life policy doesn't have a surrender value .I then asked that for all the years i have paid , if im unable to pay the policy im told it will lapse and all the money i have been paying I can't get back. How is it a ife policy doesn't have a surrender value . Consultant even told mt its either I cancel now or it will eventaually lapse when I can't make payments
