Bad Service from 1Life direct

My dads life cover that he has with them for close to 13 years lapsed. They sent a payment link with a due date and 2 days before the link expired we could not make the payment and upon follow up we were informed it lapsed. I wonder how many clients policies have lapses in this way due to a technical glitch with their systems
