1Life#Moneyshop ****

I answered a sms I got on my phone for a short term cash loan. The sms said “MONEYSHOP”. Within 2 minutes my phone rang (bearing in mind its before 8am) I am already at work came could talk and asked for the agent to call me back at 12pm as it is my lunch. I get the phone call and the agent said I responded to a MONEYSHOP sms, I said yes he asked me how much am I looking for and I told him R3000 and what I want to use the money for, I told him that presents, he kept saying to pay debt.

So then a intense line of questions started, and at one point I said this is for a R3000 cash loan what is all these questions for

He said it’s for insurance for the loan. Now a R3000 loan should not have more than a 6 month payment plan. This agent is now talking about my age of retirement. He says the premiums will be R600 and something

I did think those premiums over 6 months is a little low as they would basically only make About R600 to R800 profit.

So when my policy schedule arrived in on my phone. I started reading and I realised that 1 Life uses this tactic of getting people who want a short term cash loan to sell their products.

I phoned back and I eventually got hold of the agent and I asked him about the loan and the insurance.

He said MONEYSHOP had to phone me first

I told him HE (from 1Life) PHONED ME almost immediately. MONEYSHOP has not phoned but why pile he be interested in my loan Amount.

Just be warned

1Life uses this scheme to fool people to contact them.
