The worse Company ever!!! Do not deal with them! They accused me of not disclosing my breast cancer before i took out the policy (which i took out in 2014). there were 3 months that i did not pay my premium due to financial constraints and even went off my hospital plan. I resumed it again as soon as i could. I went for a mammogram in February 19 which was negative. later in October of the same year I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I was told i had a pre-existing condition - breast cancer (i supposedly knew about in February when i had the mammogram). Would i honestly go off my hospital plan and wait 8 months before i do something about cancer!! Who would wait 8 months to act on cancer! Really!! No one!! Oh yes and also go off my medical plan after February!?? Really! Yet they wanted to get confirmation from doctors that i was only diagnosed in October 19. And i had to pay for the third dr reports without them consulting me fist on the matter and being charged for it! This , after already having two independent dr reports! Whenever i reverted at how ridiculous their assumptions were, they just say your claim has been repudiated, not answering any of my questions! They finally admitted that i did not know about the condition, but that now they still wont pay due to another reason! when i reverted about that, all i got was that your claim was repudiated for various reasons, and no explanation given or responses to my comments!. "Take it up with the ombudsman" said Stanley Mpumelelo in particular, who i found most unprofessional and unhelpful. He did not even know that the so called preexisting condition i had according to them was at their own admission a false assumption! This after i received a letter of them telling me they will reinstate the policy that they cancelled because of my so called 'non disclosure". Shows you how non-existent the inter departmental communication is there and that they don"t really care about your case! In the meantime I am left with bills to pay as I am not on a hospital plan and have taken this cover since 2014 for assistance with medical / life cover!. Please do NOT give these people your money!
