1Life Life insurance

My Step-Father recently passed away and he had life insurance with 1 life, he passed away from Covid, nothing strange, his hart just gave in. I have submitted the necessary documents to them, which by the way is absurd what they request from a person, they want medical records from before he got the policies, but this is conveniently left out when they phone you and try and sell the policy to you, now they must first conduct medical investigations and they are still busy with same, for almost a month they are busy with the investigations. life insurance is supposed to be hassle free and painless because you are already struggling with the loss of a loved one and we are depended on these policies to pay out but it is just one pain after another. so I would not recommend anybody to get life insurance from 1life, your loved ones will just struggle to get the claim paid out and they will wait a long time, other life insurance policies do all the medical checks when you get the policy and you are still alive so when it needs to be paid out , you can simply submit the claim and it will pay out within maybe a month, it has been a little bit more than a month now and they are not even close to paying us out they are still busy with their investigations and can give me no indication as to when I can expect the claims to pay out. The entire point of getting a life insurance policy and paying a large amount every month is so that when you die, your loved ones are taken care off, this does not help if it only pays out two to three months after you die well I believe that is if they don't want anymore absurd documents from me. I am just very unhappy.
