1Life is a rip-off

I have had life cover with 1Life since 2007 - I cancelled it yesterday! Why? For two years running the annual premium increase has exceeded 35% each year. When trying to get a reasonable explanation from upper management it is virtually impossible. Their ivory tower is so high that the man in the street, “kippie”, me, has no real recourse, except to settle with a downgraded cover. The only thing the poor 1Life person on the other end of the line can say, “I’ll escalate your concern sir”. I ran this course last year with some poor manager way down on the food chain who never even responded to my last email to them. I tried giving it another year, what a fool I am. Rather be disciplined to put your own money away for your own life cover. Not all of us are financial fundis and appreciate some sound financial advice, but I can learn when I’m being ********** and taken advantage of. So I chose to lose everything I have paid for 17 years instead of losing everything at the end of the day. So 1Life upper echelon sit laughing at me saying, “vat so - sucker”.
