1life direct should relook are their policy that means nothing to their clients

1Life direct is not a business for the long term it should be a business for short term only reason being they don’t consider the inflation of your capital they only looking to increase their premiums to give their employers good salaries from your monies but they ain’t willing to increase your capital amount with them. example if you cover your life for ten thousand each year your premiums will increase but your ten thousand capital amount stays the same - all other institutes tell you if your premiums increase by 10% then your capital will maybe increase by 6% or more not with 1life their policy I don’t know why is design to say that only their premiums increase - maybe it is to look after them and not really you otherwise they know that inflation hits all of us and within a year or 5 that ten thousand for you will be equivalent to five thousand rand or less come pay out day in 10 to twenty years from the time you entered their business. 1Life direct is not delivering what they advertised - same with their funeral plan they advertise one thing when I phone them the cover was far less than what they cover fortunately for me I could replay their advert to the person phoning me and no answer up till today - I am on the verge of laying a complaint at the ombudsman cause where do you hear that inflation is only to cover them and not you as their client- check Holland Sanlam all these companies increase your benefits with your increase if premiums
