1Life and Lancet Laboratories
Feb 2015 we incrd th limit of our policies. 1Life was but to eagr to collect the incrsd premiums. Being very busy, we missed t deadline to go for t blood tests. We thn received communication tht our policies had been reduced to accidental only. On 4th of Dec, having phnd 1Life and informing thm tht we would go for t tests, we wnt to Lancet lab in Tzaneen for t HIV tests. We thn waited fr a response, which we never received. This spoilt our whole December to an extent where we even cancelled our holiday plans. On 29 Dec, we got an email tht 1 of our policies, fr Mr Du Plooy, hd been restored. Upon enquiring abt Mr Deetlefs's policy nobody could give us an answer. You cn imagine how this stressed us out. I phnd 1Life on 30 December to find out what was going on. Wayne Powell promised to phone me back, but never did. Rowar Louw of Lancet phoned me and promised to send me an email explaing th situation, but never did. On 5 Jan 2016 I phnd him again and th only dd he confirm by mail, tht they never received th order frm 1Life, and th blood was discarded. They both sent apolgy emails nd enquired whn we would go back for a nw sample ?? Not accepting any responsibility!! (not enough space)
