1life

My personal experience with 1life has been exceptional however I'm extremely disappointed with how they've handled my fathers case. My dad was informed this year by his bank that a debit order of over R100 has been going off his account since 2022 with a 1life reference number. My dad called and explained to 1life that he has not taken any policy and is unaware that he was being debited for the past +2 years. My dad is adamant that he did not take up any policy. He has not received any communication nor policy schedule or confirmation of cover. He has not signed nor accepted any quote for a funeral *** later reimbursed my dad R100 for a single debit order, which is unfair and unjust considering that these deductions commenced in 2022. We want 1life to provide proof of acceptance of the policy and also verification that my dad authorized the mandate, signed and accepted the quote, agreed and signed off the agreement. Sales can really be challenging, agents are under pressure and push to makes ***** sales to reach sales target. Should we not receive sufficient proof confirming that my dad signed and accepted the policy, we expect my dad to be reimbursed all hi monies dating back to the inception of this policy or else we will be approaching and logging a claim with the Ombudsman .
