Rotten Attitude

I booked at this establishment for the 16 th of March 2019 and checkout was for the next day . The proprietor at first seemed to be friendly and she was quiet accommodating , she quoted a price and the amount was deposited immediately. We had 4 adults travelling at the time and the only available rooms were the ones with the double beds, so we reached an agreement that the 1 room will have a sleeper couch as we were 3 females a 1 male. On the morning of the 16th, we were joined by another female . I contacted the owner of the establishment and she assured me that I would get the double bed and a single bed in 1 room, bearing in mind that we travelled as a family. However when we reached the BNB , we were treated in quiet an atrocious manner, we were told that the room is no longer available as it was already booked out. I asked to speak to the proprietor and I was met with a great deal of hostility ,the woman screamed and shouted at us . She took no responsibilty for her misdemeanor and she pointed to me that we should take another room and pay a further R650. Of course at that point I refused to do so and she did not take kindly to that. Her conduct was despicable because she had known that at that point I was really desperate for accommodation. Thankfully Mr, Mohamed Seedat from 77 on Patterson came to the rescue. I was disappointed with Shirin Amod's conduct as she came highly recommended by my referrals. Instead of losing R650.00 she had in total lost R1800.00 from us.I will NEVER promote her establishment neither will I ever visit it!!!!!.
