No coins please

As usual i order from 1+1 pizza pasta at Angelo Mall, Nigel and today was no different just that i had some coins that i wanted to use as payment. I had about R5 50cent coins. The lady at the till told me that they do NOT accept any copper coins. I just stood there in disbelief as i am a regular customer. This was a shocker as it is the first time that a shop refuse coins. Dont they need coins to give change or do all people come with exact money.
