Lying and cold calling does not get you customers
I just had a spam call from a Eugene offering me some product or the other of theirs.
I asked him how and where did their company get my name and number from.
He said that they are a partner of MTN and as I had agreed to receive marketing from MTN and their partners, they obtained my number from MTN as one of their partners.
I know this to be false for 2 reasons
1. Although my number has an MTN prefix, I have ported away from MTN many years ago and am not their client.
2. Even if I were a client, I don't ever consent to marketing as I have no need of that annoying spam. Anything I want, I will find myself. I don't need any company telling me what I need.

So, here's hoping others will also see this Hello Peter post and not do business with these lying spammers.
I for one certainly would never. By their own actions they have already just lost a potential customer.
