The rudest manager I’ve ever come across!!

I had the worst experience yesterday evening at 011 Gin eatery by The Baron in Sandton.

Not sure whether this is the owner or manager of the restaurant but as we were waiting to be seated she walks up to my colleagues and I and with this bad attitude she goes “You guys look confused!”.

Secondly, we waited a while to get our food but I must say it tasted great.

Dessert was also nice until I found a strand of hair in it. I called one of the waiters to come check it out he said he’d go show the chef but I asked him to rather ask the chef to come to our table.

The lady that was serving us then told the same manger that there was a complaint about the dessert and her response to the waitress was “Why didn’t you just tell her to eat it?”. The manager then walked over, sat down next to me and said “Hi, I hear there’s hair in your dessert? Show me.”, still she approached me with a bad attitude.

After I had shown her she then took the dessert and said she’d speak to the chef. About 2-3 minutes later she comes back and says “Well, sorry about that, it could have also been steel wool. Would you like another dessert?”

Disgusted by her appalling attitude I refused to be given another dessert. She then offered my colleagues and I shots of taquilla and coffee but due to the attitude we were given we turned them down.

Honestly, I do not think I’d ever set foot again in that restaurant nor recommended to anyone!
