I Approached Francois Calitz owner of Livelife concepts on the 2nd of May 2011. I was looking for a custom Xpanda gate for my house. He send out the installation guy Peter Hebert to come and give me a quote. I should have know that there was something fishy because this guy had no clue on what the product was all about. I received a quote and he pushed me for the deposit, i then gave him R1200 deposit which the delivery guy picked up from me. He pormised me the gate will be in within 4 working days. After a week I phoned him and he replied no tomorrow.., The gate came 2 days later and I had to stop the installation guy because this was not the gate that I ordered. I then demanded the right gate or my money back, He then promised instalation the next day. Guess what? Nothing!! I am still waiting for my money or gate!.. Phoned Xpanda Head office but not really helpful with my situation. I am opening a case against Francois Calitz and hopefully with some luck he will either return my money or be jailed! Please be careful when dealing with this company. They are based in Hermanus Petri Hendriksz |
