I went to Woolworths today and when I passed the colddrinks lo and behold I noticed Woolworths still selling their 'old fashioned range' of colddrinks borrowed from a competitor. Since I actually enjoy these drinks I took four bottles and proceeded to check out. When the lady at the tills tried ringing them up she got a message saying "may not be sold". I was passed to two more tills holding up the line till eventually the manager appeared and told me I can have the drinks for free. So I am kind of impressed but perhaps a note here - if your head office says 'cannot be sold' then perhaps you should have taken heed at the memo and removed stock from your fridges? Just a thought. |
