Total Lack of Customer Service

I recently contacted Woolworths Customer Services regarding my disappointment with one of their pasta dishes (Spaghetti Carbonara). I found that they had changed the ingredients when they replaced/upgraded their packaging. After lodging my complaint, I was informed that I was mistaken and they had not added garlic as I claimed, but the product had contained garlic for many years. I have a garlic intolerance/allergy, so I usually pore over all the lists of ingredients on product packaging in order to avoid discomfort or disappointment.
In fact, the Spaghetti Carbonara is the ONLY Woolworths pasta dish that I can buy as it was the only one without garlic (even though I would have preferred lasagne, or carbonara).
So much for customer service - The customer ends up being wrong!! Never mind the fact that I didn't have lunch as I had to give my food away and that it cost a lot of money. I am most annoyed with WW for having made no effort to reimburse me for my loss. Worse still, is that I'm sitting with a product in my freezer which I can't eat and will probably have to give away again. What a waste!
