The meat was off

On Saturday I bought a 16 pcs tray of chicken at Woolworths Cresta. The meat was off - (sell by date 28.01.2011 use by 28.01.2011). I only realized that when I was preparing supper after I got the horrible smell from the meat. I never checked the date as I trust Woolies food.

I called the store and spoke to the Seipone who gave a **** of an attitude....she asked me when did I buy the meat and I told her today (Saturday), she asked what time? she said I must bear in mind that Woolies meat is sensitive I mustn't drive around with it after buying it, for heavens sake I buy meat at Woolworths and how can I drive around with meat the whole day? She told me she needs to double check; as if I was lying. Really drive all the way to Cresta to buy rotten meat and waste my airtime calling the store?

On Sunday I went back to the store she gave me this attitude asking for a slip and she said she cannot see properly, I mean yesterday's slip how can she not see the printing? Then she told me to go and get another meat and I got 1 tray of 16pcs. Then I left the store.

SHE NEVER APOLOGISED.
SHE TREATED ME LIKE I AM A ***** OR SOMETHING. I AM REALLY DISAPPOINTED & HURT BY THAT LADY'S TREATMENT.
