| In December I purchased the Woolworths Braai Sausage. In January I made supper for my family and while eating I bit into a piece of plastic that was in the sausage. I contacted the call centre and logged a complaint. To date I have had no response/feedback from anyone at Woolworths. I received an sms informing me that I can go to any store and redeem a R150.00 voucher with my ID. I informed them that I had hurt my mouth. For more than 2 weeks I have been in pain and discomfort not being able to eat what I want. I had to have the tooth removed and then the socket turned septic. I spent R300.00 at the dentist and lost 4.5 days at work because of this incident. If Woolworths thinks that because they collected the offending piece of plastic this end here...think again! I have photographs that were taken before the plastic was collected and I am prepared to take this matter as far as I can go...CPA. Media even Legal if I have to. This is not over because you cannot treat consumers in this manner. Maybe now I will receive some feedback and my complaint will be dealt with properly and to my satisfaction? | |||
