I have had a Woolies card for years, and have never used it. Yesterday I went to FNB to apply for a personal loan, only to found out that I did not qualify as I was listed on the ITC by Woolworths. On going into the Woolworths Fourways Branch they looked up my card, and saw that I was not owing them anything. The annual card charges of R41.98 went through, I paid in Dec when I received the account. They did not process the payment correctly (** or Fourways Branch?) and thus I was listed on ITC. The impact of this on my life is that I need a Personal Loan from FNB my bank, as I have 2 people who owe me a total of R45 000.00, and they can't pay. Because of this, my debit orders bounced and I wanted a loan to get me out of my situation. I am now not covered for my Discovery Medical Aid, my life insurance policies, my cellphone is going to be suspended, and my car payment not being met is going to result in my losing my car. Last week I was phoned by a Woolworths telesales and offered a loan - they turned me down as I don't have a salary slip as i am self employed. Due to Woolworths shoddy service, I now have to wait 3 months to apply for the Personal Loan, and I am livid! |
