I went into the Pavilion Woolworths Branch (Customer Services desk) yesterday, Sunday 2012.01.29 to collect my new credit card (name change after getting married) and was subjected to the most shocking and rude service by Sharlyn at the Customer Services Desk. I pesented her with a copy of my proof of address (FNB bank statement) and my I.D. Upon handing over these documents I was informed that my bank statement dated 22 September to 22 December will not be accepted, no other explanatin received except "sorry we can't help you!" (this after the same store had lost all my documentation I submitted to change my surname to my married name!!) after about 5 minutes of arguing I left the store. I then telephoned the customer services number from my cell phone and was informed by them to return to the store and get them to fax my documents to the FICA department, which I did, and again encountered less than friendly and helpful service! I was eventually given my credit card, with no apologies for the error, nothing!! this service is unacceptable from a Customer Services Desk employee! |
