I visited Wimpy Clearwater Mall on Saturday morning(04Feb2012) for breakfast. We arrived there about 09:00 and were showed to our table. Placing an order for something to drink whilst deciding what to order, the waiter returned about 10 minutes later at which time we placed an order for 4 meals. Eventually 09:45 when our food still hasn't been brought to the table, we called the manager and asked what is going on and why is it taking so long for our food to be presented? The manager advised that the kitchen is under-staffed - REALLY??? Clearwater Mall Wimpy is ALWAYS busy, how can this be an acceptable excuse? Nevertheless, once the foold eventually came, the one meal(Hashbrown breakfast) was absolutely DRENCHED in oil. It took 4 serviettes to try and drain some of the oil. After sending it back, the replacement was not exactly much better, however being famished after waiting so long, we ate it in any way. I am extremely disappointed that excuses and lack of food quality seems acceptable? |
