| On a recent visit to Durban, we had lunch at Wimpy Queen Street. We placed our order and whilst eating my burger I found HAIR in it. At that point, I showed it to the waitress who asked me whether I would like another burger and I refused. At the end of our meal, I went to the till to pay and was really disappointed that the owners did not have the courage or decency to apologise for the mishap. The burger was excluded from the bill which was understandable but the mere fact that no apology was made shows that the owners have no business sense or common courtesy. Furthermore, after the burger was returned, we felt uncomfortable due to the condescending looks that we received whilst my family were having their meal as if we placed the hair in the burger. I was further frustrated by the fact that the owners spoke in another language regarding the incident whilst I stood in front of them to pay. What kind of service is this? My family and I will never visit a Wimpy store ever again due to the poor service and attitude. It is evident that the Wimpy head office has little or no control over what goes on in stores in terms of quality service once the franchise outlet is bought. | |||
