| We had breakfast on Sunday morning at the Wimpy New Redruth Village, as we generally did on weekends. The time between visits however has become longer as the service levels have started going down, and the last 3 times we were there were nothing special. Today though was the pits. Firstly the waiter arrived without my milkshake when he brought my wife and son's drinks, because the kitchen staff forgot to make it. Then when he brought the food, mine was forgotten again for the same reason. My meal finally arrived when my family had long finished theirs. I took mine home in a doggy bag. To make matters worse, we were sitting in the outside section where the kids playthings, are filled families and children, and people puffing away!! I was under the impression smoking was not allowed near children??? I had the stench of cigarette smoke in my face throughout this unpleasant experience. I am complaining because I want to have breakfast at that particular Wimpy, and if things do not improve I will most certainly NOT BE BACK! I discussed my displeasure with the manager, but I do not believe the smoking issue will be resolved. | |||
