| I took out special insurance for things like scratches, windscreen etc. when I financed my car with wesbank. I then settled the loan amount a year or two later. That closed the policy including the insurance. Came as a massive surprise when I wanted to claim for a new windscreen against the insurance policy. would have been nice to realise that I no longer had the insurance. | |||

Hello jries, Thank you for raising your concerns with us in respect of the value added product, which was part of the agreement whilst you were finance here at WesBank. A representative has been in contact with you to discuss that the product was part of the agreement only until the expiration date. When your account was settled and closed, the policy is automatically cancelled. We apologise if you were not informed, however this is stated in the paid up letters given to customers.
