| I phoned Wesbank to make payment arrangements for my car as Im going on unpaid maternity leave. I was told by Yolandi from the call centre that Wesbank does not make payment arrangements in the event that one is going on maternity leave. She put me through to Wesbank corporate and a gentleman whos name I cant remember repeated the same. I tied to negotiate a lower payment but Wesbank would have none of it, yet consumders are encouraged to contact creditors to make payment arrangements. The fact of the matter is that I will not have the full amount to pay them for the car while on maternity leave. I know they will be calling me when that happens yet we could have come to some understanding before the missed payments. How is that for service!? | |||

| Quite Impressed: We came to a payment arrangement as I had initially requested when I contacted them directly. Its a pity Wesbank are prepared to do the right thing only when the world is watching. I now understand why debtors would rather duck and dive as opposed to approaching creditors. I hope Wesbank works on its policy towards troubled debtors for the sake of both parties in the contractual agreement. | |||
