| Prior to returning to Guinea where he works, my husband applied for finance for a Fortuner. This was approved very quickly as we have always had a good relationship with the bank. We both bank with FNB where our bond and numerous cheque accounts are held, this included my husband's platinum account. My husband has worked out of the country for more than 7 years so being the good citizens we are we have a General Power of Attorney in place as well as a document at the bank giving me full signing powers on all my husbands accounts. You would think that as this is acceptable in any court in the land it would be acceptable to Wesbank, a division of FNB? Nope the GPA is more than a year old so is not acceptable? What are you kidding me? I have been given the run around and am now told to wait until my husband gets home so that HE can collect the car. Wesbank life is not black and white and your policies are stupid, does nobody have the power to make a decision based on your clients merit!!!? We will take our business elsewhere and even if we do still need him to sign I will then wait rather than give you the business!! | |||
