| HEADLINE | NO WARRANTY ON 5 1/2 MONTH OLD BLACKBERRY 9000 |
||
| On 1st September 2011 my Blackberry 9000 was replaced under warranty as per Jobcard 6970753-14106740. On 18th January 2012 the new Blackberry was handed in under Jobcard 7430736-141112666 for exactly the same fault. I was informed that as the contract had expired, even though another contract had been entered into, there was no warranty on the 5 1/2 month old phone and I was quoted R2300 to repair it. If I had purchased the phone over the counter I would have been entitled to a 2 year warranty. I have been a customer of Vodacom for over 15 years and at present have four phones on contract with them. I now can't wait for these contracts to expire so that I can move my business to another service provider who actually have the interests of their customers at heart. | |||

| CUSTOMER'S FEEDBACK | GaryBerman | Time and Date | 07:55:31 | Fri 10 Feb 12 |
| Utterly Disgusted: Completely dissatisfied with response from Vodacom. All I received was a phone call relating exactly what I had been told at the store and confirming the reasons for my original complaint. Also they just passed the buck on to Blackberry and would take no responsibility at all. I will most definitely consider changing service providers on the expiry of the contracts. | |||
