| I applied for a cell phone contract with vodacom yesterday,I was looking at gettin the iphone 4s. I filled in all the forms and supplied them with all the information.This was my first time applying for a contract, as ive been on pay as you go. The sales person in the store said he would get back to me with in an hour... he didnt... i called and spoke to him the next day and he said vodacom had refused the contract due to me not having a credit rating. I have +- 7 debit orders coming off this my account monthly, inc a house bond. Seriously!? what? do i need to open 100 clothing store acccounts in order for my application to be approved? This is extremely poor service from vodacom. | |||

| Quite Impressed: I was very impressed with how quickly vodacom contacted me regarding my complaint. It was an error on vodacoms side, which has so far been fixed (i dont have my phone in hand yet) I almost went to another cell phone provider but decided to give vodacom another chance. In future i think they need to be more aware that there could be technical errors on their side so that new customers dont feel embarresed when their application is denied | |||
