Good Day. I subscribe to BIS at R59.00 every month but I am hardly able to browse the internet, I use Facebook and Google the most, I do not abuse the BIS service. When I called customer service I was informed that there are customers using their phones as modems and Vodacom is throttling the service. I have reset my phone to factory default with no improvment. My work Blackberry is the same. I pay for a service I do not abuse.. Please Vodacom, sort out my problem as you are my preferred network. Kind Regards, Steven. |

Hello 44MD178, There have been no changes implemented on the BlackBerry service and we are not slowing any customer's access. We are working with the makers of BlackBerry, Research in Motion, to find a solution to manage the issue of a very small number of customers using the BlackBerry service to download vast amounts of data. These downloads, which are not part of the fixed fee on-device service, are responsible for degrading the service for all other users.
