Change of Claim Excess

I had a problem with my iphone it stopped charging, I took it into vodacare sandton.As the phone could not be repaired I was called by vodasure to tell me that I can get a iphone 4S as the iphone 4 is discontinued. However I should pay an excess of R750 , I said thats fine and asked how long is the quote valid, they said 60days I have tried for about 3 weeks to find stock of the iphone 4S as none of the vodacom stores have stock , if not the whole country.However after about a month of no iphone and no cellphone ? I came across a store that had 1 in stock.I wen to the store and they called vodasure the agent (nicole) answered, and advised that I need to pay R750 , plus an additional R400 as the price increased on the 4S, I asked to speak to a manager and they are on lunch and assistant is busy (all on lunch the same time). ?? Y do we pay for insurance , if we always have issues , if VODACOM claims to be the industry leaders why do they get a under performing insurance company that always gives there client hassles ???? VODASURE does not care for Vodacom Subscribers , if the quote is valid for 60 days and I laimed in under 30 , Why do I need to pay an extra R400. Terrible Service

Hello Nico007,

Kindly be advised that we have received feedback from Vodasure who advised that the prices have increased due to inflation.

The excess is 10% of the cash price and therefore the additional is applicable.
