Poor Service Delivery

Purchased a Virgin mobile contract. Requested my previous pre-paid Vodacom cell number be ported over. Application made at Virgin Pavillion on 30-12-11. Was informed the port would take 3 - 9 days. On Friday 13th Jan 2012 visited the shop to enquire why the port had not yet been effected. Bradley made a call to the relevant dept, nothing had been done thus far, apparently fax had not been received ??? Was assured it would be done on Monday 16th Jan. Monday 16th Jan telephoned the Pavillion shop to make enquiry, unknown male server (not Bradley) informed me it would be done that night as ports are done during the night hours. Did not happen. Telephoned the Pavillion shop again and was told that the port was in process. It is now the 18th January. Not yet done. Disappointed in the service and the inconvenience I have experienced whilst awaiting a simple number port.

Quite Impressed: Virgin Mobile South Africa responded to my complaint the very next day and actioned the change over for the following day.  Pleased with this head office, just hope they took it further with the franchise holder.
