EFT vs Debit order Payments

Notifcation sms were sent of the altered d/o date because of the public holidays - for years I have being paying via EFT & there has never been a problem that the d/o has been presented as well. The EFT payment was done on 20 Dec 2011 and reflected the following day as a credit on my account - now the d/o was presented and rejected because I transferred funds to another account. I want the back charges paid back to me now. This will now cause other d/o not to go through.
