| I joined Virgin Active in 2010 August and we signed 12 month contract. last year I requested to withdraw from the contract and I was told to write a cancellation letter.I handed in my cancellation letter in August 2011. and after that I received I call from Nontarha Dandala who asked me why am I cancelling. I told her that R400 is too much and she told me that I should have said so that they could make a plan.and she told me that she will put my account on hold for three month. last friday I was approach by their agent to joing Virgin Active on my arrival I was surprised to find that I owe R1799. my question is what must I pay for because I handed in my cancellation letter plus i haven't been using their services.what i want is for this R1799 to dropped | |||

Hello monyame, Thank you for chatting to me this morning regarding your concerns, As discussed you canceled your membership in August 2011 and was then contacted by Nontarha Dandala with whom you agreed to freeze your membership at no cost for the next 3 months. I have listened to the call between yourself and Nontarha and she informed you that your debit order would start again as per normal from 1 December as the freezing was until 30 November. She also informed you that should you still wish to cancel you needed to submit another letter to us. I have emailed you all details as per your request.
