| I had a gym contract with Virgin Active Boulders branch. I cancelled the contract with their manager telephonically and was informed that this will be at no extra cost to me. I then get an sms notification a week later saying that Virgin Active has debited my account. In the conversation had with the manager, I was informed that my contract can be can cancelled at no cost as my contract was going to expire anyway. I feel that this is not fair and would NEVER recommend Virgin Active to anyone of my friends or family | |||

Hello Nash0405, Thank you very much for chatting to me this afternoon, Please accept my apologies for the procedure not being clearly explained to you when canceling your membership. As discussed your membership is out of its initial period and we therefore only require 20 days notice to cancel the membership. The amount that was deducted on 1 February was a pro rata amount for the number of days you can still train during February. I trust we have come to an amicable solution to your concerns.
