Gym Membership Cancelled but still shows owing!!!!

I received a 1st reminder letter in December after cancelling my membership and paying the 30% cancellation fee (CPA act) on 29th SEPTEMBER 2011!!! I approached Virgin Active Claremont in December and a girl behind the reception desk said not to worry it will be sorted. I received a 2nd reminder letter a week ago, I again approached Virgin Active Claremont on Saturday and the manager on duty, Suzette, said the admin department is closed but she will sort it out 1st thing on Monday and PERSONALLY call me back. I waited whole day and still have gotten no response with regards to my account being zeroed!!! This is seriously pathetic follow-up service from a gym that has apparently high standards.

I can confirm that your account with Virgin Active has been cleared and that no further amounts are owed to Virgin Active.

I apologise in the lack of feedback from Virgin Active Claremont.
