| In September 2011 Virgin Active informed about their 5 day Trial and they informed me that after 5 Day they would contact me and find out if I am happy or not with their service and wish to continue. I informed the sales consultant from the get go that I was unemployed at the time and could not afford to have a full membership at the time or in the near future and that I would try the trial. She informed me the documentation I had to sign and the bank details I had to give were all a routine as their system could not add me to the 5 day trial without my banking details. I specifically told the Yasmeen that I cannot afford R300 a month and I told her if I was made a permanent employee I could get a discount through my medical aid ( Vitality).My bank statement reflects that Virgin Active has been deducting R371.00 from my bank account without even getting back to me or sending me any documentation The Consumer Protection Act protects us from such predators , sales hungry people who are willing to make a quick buck !!!I am willing to take this matter to court | |||
