HEADLINE	Unisa lost application
I handed in my application to study BSc at Unisa (studies to start beginning 2012) on 12 September 2011 at the Parow (Cape Town) Campus. The lady checked that all the paperwork were in order and accepted it. I received no further communication from Unisa. I enquired at the Unisa offices, Parow, again in Oct and was informed that my application does not show on their system. They recommended I contact Unisa's helpline via email, as the application may not yet have been captured by the BSc department? I did so and asked whether I may resubmit another application as I was on time the first time. I was given a reference no via email 11301NX09216.Unisa only responded on 13 Dec 11 with a general email suggesting I reapplying next year March to start studies only mid 2012. I feel it is unfair as I did send my application on time, but the Parow offices was very disorganised and busy with renovations. The did not even consider my request and answered with a general automatic reply type of e mail. I submitted my husbands application a week after mine and his was accepted without difficulty. May I please have a fair chance and resubmit for their consideration to start studies 1/12 Add a new Unisa Report Inappropriate report?

Quite Impressed: Thank you Hello Peter and thank you Unisa. The query will be sent to the relevant department. I am looking forward to the department's response. I have since visited the Unisa BSc Registrations at Sunnyside Pretoria and was told to resubmit an application on 16 January and that it will still be considered for studies starting the first semester 2012. I hope the BSc department head can confirm this? Thank you.
