Followed up on the Identity query logged on your site & when i called Truworths ***** department one the consultant "told me that WE DONT KEEP ID COPIES WE ARE NOT A BANK" so i need to know how can i open a ***** case if someone managed to open two accounts with my ID Number. Identity and Truworths can't provide me with the documents used for opening accounts. i got stament from Truworths that i owe them R2700. how is it that a person can have two accounts from the same company. Truworths 10101106609062 i dont know when this account was opened and identity 101211103786746. I This whole night mare is creating alot of unnecessary stress for me. I have sent emails to on the 23rd January and no one has contacted me regarding this matter.Went to the police station again and they still insist that they want the ID copy used for these fraudulen accounts. Either the person who prosessed these account must take resposibility or the store manager. |

Hello ljamjam, We acknowledge receipt of your disputed accounts queries dated 02 Feb and 03 Feb respectively and we are pleased to inform you of the following based on the findings of our investigations:- Both accounts were opened fraudulently and have now been closed; You are not liable for any purchases made on these accounts; Any references to these accounts were removed from the credit bureaux; As a precautionary safety measure for your protection, we uploaded your information on the South African Fraud Prevention Services (SAFPS) data base. We confirm that this information was communicated to you earlier today both via telephone and per email. | Utterly Disgusted: I'm still waiting for feedback from Truworths and IDENTITY. I cant open an Identity ***** case due to withheld information by the company. I have faxed and emailed my certified ID,proof of resident , proof postal address and an affividavit. What amazes me with this whole issue is that niether of my personal information is correct . I want to know who's cell number is showing on the contract "Since i'm told that the account was applied through an SMS " sim card are fica'd so who does it belong to | |||
