| we ere buying cloths at truwoths ilanga mall nelspruit and my cell phone go stolen in the shop. i engaged the manager to ask whether are there cameral in store after i explaned my story , she just say no. she even saw us shopping/ You know it was so painful she didnt even ask my details should may be someone feels so guilty and hand it over to them i can get it back. its a contract phone nokia E6. my heart was so much in pain as she didnt even care. One staff member was follwing us every wher in the shop we even ask ourselves that may be they think we shop lifters. after i realize my phone was gone we couldnt see the lady as we went back in. i was just leaving the shop when i wanted to use the phone only to fine that its not there. I dont blame her but if it was for a white person i think and believe that she should have taken her details in case they find it.treat your customers well . how do they minimized the risk of ***** as they dont have cameras and no tags like the one sfrom edgars. | |||

Hello juicee, Thank you for your post. Truworths has various security measures in place which cannot be disclosed for security reasons and the protection of our customers. Each and every customer's safety is a priority to us whilst they are in our stores and we are sorry to hear of your cell phone loss. We contacted the relevant Store Manager and she said that you came back to the store approximately two hours after first visiting the store to look for your cell phone. As we do not have specific information regarding the loss of your cell phone, it is not certain that it was lost in our store. We have reminded the Store Manager about the importance of handling these matters accord to our policy which is to take down your contact details and details of the incident in order to communicate appropriately should your phone be handed in or found.
