I've had a Truworths account for years and have a fabulous track record; I spend thousands per year. For the first time since I've opened my account I'm unable to make a full payment this month - which is much higher than usual. I contacted Truworths and tried to make a payment arrangement and informed them that I would pay the balance of the outstanding amount over 2 months along with my monthly installment. I then paid 2/3 of the amount due for the month. Since then I've been getting daily calls from Truworths call centre representatives with BAD ATTITUDES asking for payment and payment arrangements (which I have already confirmed on more than one occasion) This is so uncalled for, especially since I should be considered an excellent customer I've sent NUMEROUS messages to their contact centre to find out why I'm being harassed on a daily basis and to date nobody has answered my messages - I only get calls where they treat you like a criminal! Is this how I gett treated after spending so much and having a fantastic account track record???? I'm disgusted! I am going to close my account once it is paid off!!! |

While investigating your query, we established that your instalment due by 02 January 2012 was not paid in full and by the time that we received this post, we were not in receipt of the payment arrangement that you refer to. This subsequently resulted in our collections department contacting you to remind you of the status of your account. As discussed during our telephone conversation yesterday we confirm that your account is now up to date with payment and we are pleased that this matter has been resolved.
