Arrogant managers

its the 2nd time ive had a problem with a bad attitude in THIS gateway branch of truworths. I've quite frankly decided to never go there again! When "Eugene" the so called line manager became quite offensive in his demeanor I asked for his superior who turned out to be "damian" whom I received horrible attitude from a few mnths before so I did not even bother to spk to him.

Eugene was very rude.he told me 3x to go read the NCR certificate on the wall which deals with credit when I was simply trying to swop a gift I received with no receipt a service which every other store provides happily. He called the call ctr and lied that he's speaking to a senior member,turned his back to me and complained that" the customer is being persistent" I asked him for his surname to which he replied "NO I will not!" he then walked off without sorting my issue.a customer next to me overheard my dilemma and said "this is the WORST branch and her friends NEVER support Truworths due to the attitude in this store"very sad indeed since it's ur largest mall branch p.s Pavillion service is excellent and friendly!

We are concerned to hear of the service you received when visiting one of our stores and while addressing this matter with the Store Manager, we were informed of the following;

The Store Supervisor, Eugene declined the return of your garment as you did not supply us with a proof of purchase which is one of the requirements of our returns policy.

According to Eugene, he tried explaining our returns policy as well as advised this policy is in accordance with the returns regulations of the Consumer Protection Act (CPA).He has asked that we extend a sincere apology for the fact that you are unhappy with the manner in which he assisted you and hopes that you understand the basis of his decision.

We confirm that the Area Manager has contacted you telephonically and conveyed an apology for the upset caused and we regret that you are unhappy with the final outcome of your query. Not Impressed: Hi Natasha
Tx for ur response. I have up to now received no such call of apology. I do not agree with the story that u have been told. I do not understand the basis of his decision to arrogantly walk off...in my book that's a far cry from customer service. I will however not support that branch as long as managers like that are there. Many tx for ur response and pls be aware that iv received great service from other individuals in ur other stores. Regards
