TRANS-SUX part 1

On 15th July 2011 I went to book 2 tickets for me and my 11 year old niece, travelling from Port Elizabeth back home to Johannesburg on 22nd July . While making the booking I told the booking agent that my niece is 12 but called my brother  to confirm, he said she actually 11 yrs old. Told this to agent and was told it doesn't really make a difference. So I paid for  the tickets and left. Upon leaving I saw that there was actually a huge difference in price for 11 and 12 yr old. Literally 5 min after making booking I went back and confronted the agent. The agent's  attitude was very blase .Seeing as they weren't honest about the 30% price difference in the 1st place, I   asked for my money back. The agent t said yes but I needed to pay a 10% cancellation fee. This I found ridiculous esp. as it was literally within 10 min after making initial booking. I told them as much but was met with an indifferent attitude,and was basically told to like it or lump it. I asked to speak to manager but was told he not available, even though there were personnel in back office clearly on a break or something.
