| HEADLINE | COCKROACHES IN TRANSLUX BUSSES |
||
| On 7 of November 2011 I boarded a translux bus from Port Elizabeth to East London at about 6:30pm in the evening so it was already getting dark. As the bus was leaving PE I saw a cockroach on my window. I immediately reached for my shoe so I kill it but it quickly went past me and to the window behind me. Less then a minute later I see this cockroach again but this time its coming from the window in front of me. I remember thinking "this is the fastest cockroach ever", unless... I looked behind me and guess what? There was that cockroach I had initially seen meaning there was two, or so I thought. I started panicking and something told me to look on the floor and oh my gosh, yes, there were cockroaches, lots of them, everywhere! I told the bus driver who just said (yoh sisi axakile) meaning they knew about them and they let us pay so much money to travel on a bus with cockroaches. Is it really that expensive to buys those bug killing sprays because for so many cockroaches to be in one place at the same time, it must have taken quite an extended period of time for them to breed and the whole time, translux knows about the problem and just doesnt do anything about it.
