THE INCIDENT

I applied for a prepaid Telkom phone service. The phone was installed on 30 April 2008, however it is still not operational. The puzzling thing is that when the installation guy came he was able to phone me to tell me that his part was done, now it's someone else's responsibility. Soon after that call the phone stopped working. When I phoned the faulty service line I was told that I must either buy a new phone because the one they gave might be faulty or maybe the phone cables have been stolen. I was told to phone another number instead which may also not be able to help me. When is Telkom going to treat its customers with respect. I have already paid R250 for the service but now no one is taking responsibility. Can somebody please connect my phone line correctly so I can use it. It's been 10 days since the phone was installed.
